Tell us what makes you hometown proud:
I'm proud of Regina because it is the first city in Canada to have a First Nations University (FNUC). This amazing building was designed by architect Douglas Cardinal. I had the pleasure of attending this school to study Indigenous Studies in my undergrad.
Tell us what would make your hometown even better:
I think Regina would be a much nicer place to live with a better transit system. Living there without a car, it is extremely difficult to get around. Improved, more reliable bus routes would require an investment, but would pay off in the long run and reduce negative impacts on the environment. Once there is a decent bus system, people will drive less and take public transit more.
